Who else battles with ever changing skincare needs? Chuck it up to me just getting older or my need to be high maintenance all  of the time but this past winter I noticed that my normally “oily/combination skin”  began to develop  these super  irritating dry patches along my cheek and forehead areas. Makeup  would leech on to these dry  patches for dear life which would have been any makeup fanatics worst nightmare . Besides  the occasional breakout here and there my skin is usually well behaved so experiencing this “rough patch”  was a bit nerve wrecking as my skin was in need of some serious hydration and ASAP. I began frantically researching different  products to revamp my skincare regimen and after reading several reviews and the product description for the Neutrogena Hydro Boost line I was eager to try.

Who else gets distracted while running errands that are strictly non makeup related and then end up falling victim  to purchasing something you swore called your name? Well that’s what happened to me while at Walgreens a couple of weeks ago I came across a Milani Amore Matte Lip Crème display showcasing their 10 new limited edition lip crèmes Milani launched for the fall season. After sifting through the remaining shades I selected two lip colors that I thought would be perfect additions to my collection and complimentary to my skin tone. The two Milani Amore Matte Lip Crèmes I purchased were Glamour which is a beautiful pearl bronze shimmery shade and Magnetic which is described as a deep pearl cranberry color with also a hint of shimmer.

About a month ago I received an em cosmetics creamy color classic lipstick in the shade “Nude Lace” within my monthly Ipsy bag. In addition to receiving my confirmed items, this was as an incentive to continue my service with the company after I chose to cancel my subscription. Now choosing to leave was not related to any negative experiences or anything of the such, I just wanted to pause the influx of new products I had coming in. As a product junkie we tend to go overboard with the beauty related subscription services (yes I’m guilty lol) that have seemed to pop up everywhere and with my schedule it had become hard to test out my current products before receiving the new ones. So seeing as how I’ve wanted to try em cosmetics for some time now I said what the heck and continued with my subscription.
