Beauty, Brains, and style are what the phenomenal Tracee Ellis Ross embodies. The daughter of legendary recording artist Diana Ross popped onto my radar when she played Joan Clayton on the UPN/CW comedy series “Girlfriends”, and I’ve been obsessed with her style both on and off the screen ever since.
Her style screams femininity and glamor, with her signature curls and infectious smile she is a woman who isn’t afraid to be herself and express that uniqueness through fashion. As an advocate for women’s empowerment and a passionate motivational speaker Ross helps others discover their true inner joy and helps build esteem. This past year Ross was nominated for an Emmy for Best Actress in a comedy for her work in “black-ish” making her the first black woman in 30 years to receive a nomination in the category. With her bold eccentric style, she is able to recreate herself time after time teaching us all a thing or two in the process.
